Blender jugs are not covered by warranty on the motor and are considered consumable items. The manufacturer recommends replacement every 12 months, however this is a guide and dependent on usage, number of jugs in the system and washing methods. Jugs should not be placed in dishwashers as high temperatures will reduce the lifespan of the poly-carbonate material. Continuing to use jugs once the bearings are worn can result in damage to the blender motor which will void the warranty.
